SKYS THE LIMIT

Force One Ltd where engaged to remove material for a new manhole within a courtyard behind an RBS Bank in Edinburgh. Because of the limited working space, one of our Remote Tracked Brokk Units was deployed to carry out the work. This was connected to the main suction/vacuum excavator parked out in the neighbouring street, using approx. 35m of extension hose that ran through the building to the Brokk location to excavate around 5 - 6 meters deep. The only real issue to tackle was getting the Brokk Unit into the courtyard in the first place. This was achieved by a crane lift taking the Brokk up, over and into the courtyard. The work was a complete success giving passers-by and business owners alike, an interesting show of diverse thinking to achieve a challenging excavation.
