Force One Australia Achieves Excellent Audit Results

17-08-2016

Impressive pass rate following First Point Supplybase Audit

Our team in both the UK and in Australia have been working hard across the seas (thank goodness for the internet!) to be prepared in all areas for an Achilles FPS Audit to enable the Aussie team to work on gas and oil assignments that are put their way.

With the help from Declan and Lynsey over here in the UK and with Stella over in Australia implementing the documents into a full company policy, procedures and recording document control system, we were absolutely thrilled to hear that the auditor awarded an 80% pass rate on the Achilles FPS Audit, first of many accreditations we aim to achieve.

Having achieved this impressive score, we now aim to better the 80% pass result next year with continuously improving our work over the next 12 months.

Following this audit, Force One Australia can now work across the gas and oil industry, where suction excavation is required – A massive achievement in only a few months of having the vehicle over in Australia, less than a year in-fact!!

Although it has been hard work, with the commitment of both teams we are so pleased to have this accreditation to the Force One name.

A massive well done to everyone involved – ‘Team Work Makes the Dream Work’

Suction Excavation ‘V’ Numatic Commercial Hoover

11-08-2016

Competition hots up as alternative suction methods were introduced to a recent emergency project.

It’s not every day that we have such challenging competition on site, however, when our operative, Scott turned up to a recent emergency call out, he knew he was in for a tough shift.

Upon arrival to site and following his project briefing, Scotty was immediately faced with a Numatic commercial hoover, a 580W / 230V with Aluminium wand set, 1.9m hose length with accessories to include: crevice / dusting brush and 270mm combi floor tool.

So, what happened I hear you ask? Well ….. The guys set to work, removing material to expose a burst water pipe ….

The Numatics highly skilled operator soon realised that he was not going to remove the same amount of material as Scotty and the 32t suction excavator – it was a tough challenge and a hard decision, but with regret, the Numatic machine was retired from site and returned to his household owner to carry out more appropriate task for his/her capabilities!

Scotty on the other hand continued to remove material at a rapid rate, exposed the underground water pipe and the emergency team were able to repair the damaged pipe and put things back to normal.

Some things, I guess are best left to the appropriate suction machinery for the task in hand!

Good effort from all of the guys though and a little bit of light entertainment for a change!

Next time you go on site, watch out for the little red mean machines, they may just be up for a little bit of competition!

*This is not a promotion of any kind for Numatic Hoover Systems ¦ Other makes are available
