In the first of a new series here on Force One's blog, We will be posting regular blog posts focusing on our operatives. A member of our office team, Rebecca is currently undergoing training to become a Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) ambassador and as part of this initiative, she will be keeping you up to date with the hard work carried out by our operatives out in the field aswell as those based in our office. These posts will include individual updates from the team members themselves about how they are getting on at Force One, their future development and their achievements.

EVERYBODY COUNTS: BEN GERRARD

I have been working for Force One since August last year, during this time I have completed a series of training to benefit me to gain more experience.

Before I started working with Force One I had never worked within this industry.

As I got to learn more about the trucks and the different Aspects of their use, I became more confident working with them and have since achieved my HGV Licence. My HGV Training was daunting at first however after many hours practice and a good tutor, following the end of the week I was ready to sit my test and passed first time.

Not long after this, I then obtained my CPCS ticket after building up enough experience, so I was able to sit my CPCS A78F Theory & Practical at Force Ones CPCS Test Centre. I have also undergone my EUSR Shea Gas so have been very busy these past few months!

I enjoy working at Force One because no 2 days are the same, I also enjoy being part of a cohesive and experienced team.

I have recently been introduced to working on the London Underground and have obtained my Basic Track Awareness qualification, this is a new work setting for me and hopefully in the next few months I will be gaining more experience in different work types.

I am looking forward to seeing what the next few months have to bring for me at Force One Ltd.
