Sub Station Excavation

Well done Josh James on winning May Photo of the Month with this great shot.

Utilising the high power suction from the suction excavator allows us to excavate at distance for those hard to reach places.
Here, we are at an electrical sub station excavating for new cable ducts. Being inside the sub station, this contained many underground services. Where conventional methods are too high risk, Force One are able to safely excavate around these cables minimising risk to the cables and the Operatives.

Most of the work carried out by Force One was able to be carried out in standard configuration (from the rear of the truck using the remote controlled power arm ), however, due to restricted access up to 40m of extension pipes was used.

To see more examples of previous work we have done within sub stations, please see our Sub Stations page.
